New York is no fun in February.  That's why I want to go back home and hang out in Huntley Meadows until its warm and sunny back in NYC.  Maybe like Hibernating?

Spring Awakening.

Spring is ALMOST here!  I will be spending the beginning of it in Palm Beach Gardens with Emily (my fellow blogger).  And as you can tell by these images, I am excited.  You know, to wear comfy spring clothes and hang out on the beach.  With my darling of course! :)

I hope I run into this on the beach.  Woody Allen I mean.

I've been scouring the internet for the Cheetah Party Animal One Piece, and can only find the bandeau, one of which is pictured above. This is unacceptable. 

I plan on altering my old Levi Jeans into a fine pair of Jorts for hot weather.
I need sunglasses, and have always wanted to get a pair of these heart shaped frames.  You know, to satisfy the Lolita in me. (Amazon)

OH and a straw fedora.  To go with my new haircut.

Also really been wanting a boy's blazer for several outfits.  It will really complete my Annie Hall transformation, according to my Dad. (Sally Jane Vintage)

Ruvan Wijesooriya at the Soho Grand Hotel.

I attended Ruvan's first solo exhibit opening at the Soho Grand last night!  It was quite and experience, I finally got it after waiting for about a half hour with some friends.  

Ran into a 'coworker' from Roxanne Lowit's studio.  I felt pretty legit, actually knowing someone there.

The art was fun to look at, it was located in the hotel's small gallery.  Too bad it didn't get as much attention as the two bars they had there.  

Note to self: get more connections, become rich, be 21, and arrive early to those things.  Or maybe I won't need to when I get enough connections?

Christian Louboutin

I heard the other day that Christian Louboutin is teaming up with Lesage to create Marie Antoinette inspired heels.  In pink, blue, and yellow.  Quite a coincidence that I hear this news around Valentines day, while I am currently crazy for anything to do with Louboutin, AND Marie Antoinette is one of my favorite movies to watch around Valentine's Day.  It's such an extravagant shoe coming out around an extravagant 'holiday.'  February 26th to be exact! 

I plan on going to his Madison Ave boutique just so I can see these beauties in person. Unfortunately that's also when my big English paper is due. :(

Sunshine Superman.

I cannot wait for Spring.  I'm beginning to believe in the whole idea of it bringing rebirth.  Not only for nature, but for humanity.  I think the new year should start in March.  Maybe I feel that way because my birthday is in March.  

But it's a new year. The first full year as a college student. I know this is where I need to be. 

I started my internship with Roxanne Lowit, the photographer.  I wish it was more hands on, but I'll take anything.  Just being involved in something outside of school, with a well-known photographer, working towards what I want to do, in New York City.  This is the first year of the rest of my life, the life I have intended for myself.
